Perfectly Not Dorky

This is my first time nominating someone though I’ve seen those Perfect Post buttons scattered hither and yon all over the internet.

Last month, Dorky Dad wrote a very raw, emotional post about the miscarriage his wife had suffered that week which was coupled with the collapse of the bridge in the Twin Cities where he lives. Needless to say, it was a traumatic and sad time for him. He did what a lot of people do. He put all those feelings into words and tried to sort thru the sadness of it all the best way he could.

I’m not even going to pull a quote from his post as you really ought to read the entire thing. It’s an emotional tear-jerker from a guy who normally writes those weird and goofy posts that make you laugh a full body laugh.

The purpose of the Perfect Post is to recognize those posts which make us make us laugh, make us cry, touch our hearts or make us believe in magic again.

This post most certainly qualifies.

You can read the entire listing of Perfect Posts at Suburban Turmoil or Petroville.

I know the exact post you mean and I agree completely. I read that post and just sat here crying for them...wishing I could hold them both and take away their pain (momma instincts kicked in..lol).

It was such a sad time and I am sure it is something that they will never forget..nor will I.

Very good choice.
